Despite the affordable price, this brush is amazing for cats and dogs!I’m a pet sitter and I have been suggesting this particular brush too many of my cat clients and quite a few dog clients.The angles of the bristles help get through the coat and remove any dead coat as well as fluff up the coat.It’s gentle and feels very nice for The Pet.A lot of similar brushes that advertise to be amazing when in fact, the bristles are at the wrong angle and it really doesn’t get any hair out.In comparison to many other brushes that are very bulky and awkward to hold this one is very streamlined and comfortable. Not bulky in any anyway.The only kind of inconvenient thing is that it takes a little more effort to clean the brush, but you can use the vacuum and easily vacuum out any hair stuck in the brush.With many cats that I care for , I simply have to hold up the brush and they come running.I’ve used it on short haired cats, long haired cats, small dogs, Saint Bernards, and it has worked well on all of them.Love this brush

Works wonderfully for my cavapoo. Most slicker brushes don’t have the covered tips and his skin is too sensitive for those. It hurts and therefore wont sit still. This one is perfect and he lays patiently while I brush him. I always use a metal comb first to make sure there is no matting, but this makes his fur so soft and fluffy. I also use it on my small havanese, and while she generally hates grooming in all forms, she does hate this brush less than the other slicker brushes as well.

We love this slicker brush! Our dog is quite the shedder, and this brush really keeps the pet hair down around the house. It's obviously cheaply made, but for the price it's hard to beat. We also use a Furminator brush, but those should be used sparingly as to not damage the undercoat. The slicker brush is our daily driver and it does a great job. Our dog doesn't mind the brushing sessions with the brush. Great value!

Works extremely well. Dogs don’t mind getting brushed which is a plus for us. I’ve bought some brushes for them in the past, (not these), and the brushes hurt them. These don’t. So I’m impressed with how these work!!! Brush size is a suitable choice for small to medium sized dogs.

Bought this brush to brush my mini schnauzer! It works great, gets the knits out of their hair, strong combs, easy to use, my dogs don’t mind it. It’s durable and will last a long time. Easy to get the hair out of their brush too. I’ll be grabbing this brush first to comb my dogs snarly fur.

I tried the Hartz Groomer's Best Deshedding Slicker Dog Brush on my Golden Retriever, and unfortunately, it didn’t hold up. The brush feels a bit too flimsy for heavy-duty grooming and didn’t do as good a job as I had hoped. It might work better for smaller or less dense coats, but it's not the best choice for a Golden Retriever’s thick fur.

I have a Maine Coon. Lots of hair and long. I’ve invested so much in different combs and brushes. This is by far the best. I can brush matts easily and the prongs are long enough to penetrate fur. My guy is not fond of brushing but he does let me tackle a brushing longer w this brush than any other. I have a small version of this brush and this larger one.

Bought this brush for our wavy haired schnoodle. I had a different brush that was wide bristled and wanted to try something different with fine bristles and this brush is from a known brand and super affordable. The brush is good sized, not too small or too large and easy to hold. I started brushing his hair on his head first and immediately saw a difference. Made the hair more fluffy and combed out, not stringy looking. In these pics, you can see the difference from his head and his unbrushed body. The brush does snag some but it’s easy to use small gentle strokes to get through.
