Loads of glucosamine and Chondroitin!
I feed this to one picky eater, one very sensitive stomach dog, and one arthritic but fairly active dog. Picky eater eats it, zero upset for sensitive stomach - 1 of only 2 foods he can eat, and the difference in my older dog is extremely noticeable. Very high levels of Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate. All 3 are Livestock Guardian Dogs, two over 100lbs, and one 175lbs, with 3 different activity levels. Only food that all 3 thrive on and love to eat. Other foods require a lot more food to maintain them, and make twice a day feedings too large for safe eating for giant breeds. I’ve tried other premium brands and could tell their coats and overall health went way down within a couple months. My older dog gets stiff and guards near barn without the added glucosamine and Chondroitin. I would try a cheaper brand, and do for each dog at times, but it’s very obvious in any of them when I try another food, even premium ones, and I just can’t see them blatantly less healthy. I feed less of this food, so that makes it cost less than it appears. Imo, this is an excellent choice, comes in puppy, small breed, and medium/max, sizes, as well as grain free, and many flavor varieties. Love this dog food!!!

This dog food is a life saver...literally
Our Japanese Akita has always been known to be a dog who vomits every now and then. She was always someone who had a "Sensitive" stomach. We never really considered it to be her diet, until she was diagnosed with early signs of kidney failure. Unsure what to do, we looked at it from a holistic approach and switched up her food multiple times to see what she would respond best to. After going through MANY brands of all different types of food, even home cooked food, we realized this one was the absolute best for her and she never gets sick of it. 1 yr after feeding her this, and taking some kidney rejuvenation drops, she tested negative for any further issues in which our Vet quoted to us, "This is somewhat of a miracle, what did you guys do?" And so I definitely attribute her longevity (she's now 10 yrs. old) to this food. She has been on the chicken and pomegranate ancestral grain now for 2.5 yrs and she's thrown up maybe only a couple of times since (due to stuff she tends to lick off the ground outside). I strongly recommend to try this food if your dog exhibits any health issues. It always stems from what they are eating and I believe this stuff is GRADE AAAAAAAA+

Great healthy food!
A friend of mine recommended this food to help add weight to my recently purchased German Shepherd (They like them much leaner in Germany than we do). She loves it and is starting to gain weight! I also started feeding it to one of my Pit Bulls who constantly had runny stools and he now has normal formed stools! I love this food and so do my dogs!

Not what I thought looked similar
I thought this was a great price for what I usually buy. Turns out it was a different kind altogether. It was still for Farmina, but it wasn’t what we usually get. He explains the big price difference. My dog still seems to like it OK this . Same colors and flavors, but this is called ancestral grain versus prime and that is why it is cheaper
