Had to return it
This resin incense arrived in good packaging, and the lid was shrink-wrapped. However, the granules inside were a mix of soft and rubbery with clumping together. Once I was able to wrangle off a few of the tiny bits, which would have been a good size if in good shape, I set them on a prepared charcoal tablet to burn. It smelled like burning motor oil, producing large plumes of black smoke and soot, even though I'd only placed a tiny few bits - maybe 4 to 5 - of resin on the charcoal.I tried to break off a few more of the granules, but it just wasn't to be. I ended up returning the product as defective. Still, it smelled horrible, so I won't be trying another batch.
