What I wanted; A cheap anchor.
I always have two anchors on my 23' boat; the main anchor up front attached to the boats on-board anchor winch and a low cost anchor for deploying in rocky bottoms where retrieval could be an issue. I lost my cheap anchor a few weeks ago and was going to go to the marina for a replacement, but it was near the end of the day and I did not want to pay marina prices for a cheap anchor. As I do more and more often these days, I looked right to Amazon. I thought to myself; is an anchor really something you can just order online...what about the shipping? Well, Amazon has you covered. This is a prime eligible item. Frankly, I don't even know why I questioned Amazon, they will ship just about anything in a timely manner. When it comes down to it, an anchor isn't even that heavy. I received this anchor in two days in a slim box packed with packing paper. This anchor is cheaper feeling than the anchor I just lost and the welds look a bit sloppy, but it will get the job done. It is what I wanted; a cheap anchor that I don't care if I lose. I have not used this anchor yet, but unless this anchor just fails me completely, four stars.

Go up a size from recommended
Doesn't seem to hold well. We have a 22' pontoon on a lake with a river running through it. We've had some issues getting this to hold. I would recommend going up a size for your boat if you want it to hold. Still a good product, so I recommend, other than going up a size.

Good price. Much better anchor than the Unified Marine 50074569 Slip Ring Anchor, Galvanized #13. I've had both and they were similar size and cost but the Unified #13 weighs 1/2 of the SeaSense #15. When I lose my current anchor I may try a Chene CH35.

Nothing but satisfaction with these anchors
For the price..... You really can't beat it. We bought 2 of them and they work great. Holds our 24 ft pontoon in place even on windy days. Would buy again if we end up losing one.

An inexpensive anchor for a small boat
We were looking for an inexpensive, second anchor for our 21' sailboat. This one fit the bill. It is certainly not a great anchor, but it is decent and is the same size as the higher quality main anchor that we have. So, I would recommend it as a second anchor.

excellent anchor
I have used this anchor for my 21 ft sundowner and it seems to hold just fine. It holds in sand along the Lk Michigan shoreline and also in the bayous hanging with other boaters. This anchor is very light weight and just fits into my anchor compartment on my bow.

Great anchor for the price!
Held my 22’ deck boat in Lake Erie at 35’ deep water with 2’-3’ waves and didn’t move an inch!

Good product for the money, not quite heavy enough for use in the ocean with a 23' boat
Not quite as heavy as I would like, I will give it a try in Baja and post a secondary review.

Light duty but adequate
It is light duty but grabs well. Depending on your bottom you can bend it getting it out of sand or muck.

Galvanized =no rust
Although it weighs only eight pounds it held my 17.5 ft boat very effectively.

Bought it for my 16.5 Crestliner and is adequate for that. Careful when it digs in, it is ECONO and will keep your vice working to straighten it. For the money though, well worth it.

Haven't tried it yet. But it looks perfect, bigger then what I wanted but it looks like it'll do more than what I wanted it too.
