Matzo Flour Grinder
I use it for grinding wheat for matzo. I ended buying three of these and worked them to the bone. Eventually each one wore out, broke and was replaced.

A rough though heavy cast mill
This mill seems very well made. It took a bit to get used to adjusting the milling plate. As other reviews have said, the grain cup does not fit quite right but did not impede the ability to mill. I will likely buy a second one for my mom. I think this product is an essential homestead/ preparedness tool.

Good for making flour, not so good at peanut or sunflower butter
Tried it first on whole oats at it makes a very nice fine oat flour. I think it would do a good job on wheat and corn also, but did not actually try those. When I did peanuts the results were disappointing, heating the peanuts in the microwave helped a little, but not grind well enough to get the oil separation you see in the natural peanut butter you buy in the store. Also tried sunflower seeds with the same result, not a fine enough grind to get oil to separate. without oil separation taste is a little weak.

A Plain and Simple Grain Mill for a Plain and Simple Price
This is one of the cheapest grain mills I could find. I recognized the brand from all the time I spent in Central America in the 80's. I brew my own beer and this mill chews through malted barley with extreme malice. Very simple mechanism, not much to go wrong with it. My only beef is that it is difficult to mount solidly and there should be a spout under the grinding plates to direct the product into your bucket. I ended up bolting it to a piece of angle iron and c-clamping that to my welding table. Outdoors, you want to use this on a calm day or you lose an angel's share to the wind. Stuff goes all over the place, kind of messy. Hopper is flimsy and small, and isn't very secure on the grinder. Price? Not bad at all. Mostly this mill is what you would expect from Chinese industry. Takes me, with breaks, about a half hour of moderately intense work to grind 16lbs of whole malted barley. I haven't tried grinding my own flour or cornmeal but it looks like it grinds a little coarsely for the former. You are not going to go from whole kernel wheat to angel food cake with this. But for corn meal, grits, masa, or malt for beer or something stronger, this is a practical mill and affordable.

Not worth it even as cheap as it is
First of all it put out a lot of metal shavings, who knows what the coating is, the hopper not only did not engage, it just spun, there is a gap between the hopper and the flange it mounts on, and when I tried to run the wheat through twice, it fell between the gap and made a mess. You can literally see daylight in the gap that dumps fine product to the outside. Then trying to make flour out of this just won't work I tightened it as tight as I could get it, ran it through twice, and at best it is the consistency of coarse sand. Might be OK for coffee at best, it is not as fine of a consistency as corn meal, and yes, that is what the box says "corn grinder" and in the add it says it will grind wheat. Not sure if I am going to return it or throw it in the trash, overall very disappointed, feel somewhat mislead.

Don't waste your money, poorly made and missing parts 90 / Jasmine
First of all it came in a very smashed box and was used or returned from someone else. It's missing the plate that goes between the clamp and the table. It's poorly cast and the hole for the handle is off center and had to be retrofitted by my son. It was an expensive but it wasn't even worth the money I spent on it. I'll donate this to the Christian Thrift store. Maybe someone there can fix it and make it work. More and more disappointed with Amazon.

Get it! No more electric junk! Perfect price and solid unit!
I will never buy an electric coffee grinder again. It has so many uses also. I have mounted on cutting table and son and I enjoy the smell of fresh coffee plus making our muscles bigger lol.
