17in1 Multi Tool - Fantastic tool
I generally find with these multi-tools that they suffer from trying to include too many tools, and spend little effort on actual usability. Not so with this one, which ticks a lot of boxes for me.At 275g including the belt case it's quite weighty so might not be something you carry on a hike, but very useful around the camp site.✅Includes a tough carry case that can be attached to a belt up to 5.5cm wide.✅Includes a 3.5" long penknife 🚫Note this is over 3" so in the UK you'd need a reasonable excuse to carry the knife in a public space✅Includes a fold-out 3" saw, screwdriver with 6 different bits and a bottle opener, (not sure what the other hook like tool is next to the bottle opener)✅Includes pull out whistle (I can't blow it) I'm useless with whistlesThere's also 3 items that look like tiny allen keys - they're illustrated in the product photos - one has a flat head end and a phillips end. Another has a Torx end and a hex end, sizes unknown, and the smallest I cannot make out as my eyes aren't that good.✅The fold out and lock action is the best I've ever come across on knives of this type. They are all easy to access, and lock securely in place. To fold back the knives, press the metal catch inside the slot sideways. For the screwdriver, you need to push it firmly to lock it out, and then there's a tiny ball-bearing you need to press in to release it.It's a really nice, quality item, let down only by the total lack of instructions (although easy to figure out). Would make a great gift for a gadget lover.
