Decent hood for the price, lights need to be moved to the front.
Great value, but lights are in the back of the unit. They would be much more useful if they were in the front and cast light on the stove better. Lights on the back just shine on the wall and are not very useful.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE
We purchased this Comfee range hood in November 2024 during our home remodel. Within two weeks of installation, the digital control panel fell out due to two broken plastic clips. I contacted the manufacturer and went back and forth through more than 20 emails. Comfee initially requested photos, the model, and the serial number, which I promptly provided. Despite the photos clearly showing the broken part, they claimed they didn’t have a replacement and insisted I MUST return the entire unit for inspection before deciding on a resolution.I explained that it costed me more than $300 to install the range hood initially, and now removing it, shipping it back, and reinstalling a replacement would cost me an additional at least $500 + damage our new kitchen remodel wall. So on top of the unit cost, it would cost me $800 extra just to hope I can have something functioning. This is extremely unreasonable for a unit that costs about $200. I asked for a replacement part/unit or a refund instead, but they denied my request repeatedly. The company's lifetime and satisfaction warranty is 100% misleading and offers absolutely zero value. Comfee expects customers to spend hundreds of dollars to address their defective products under warranty, which is completely unacceptable. If you value your money, time, and your newly remodeled kitchen, avoid this product. It’s been a massive waste of both my time and money.

Great option for ventless
Works perfectly. Sadly corner was dented and we waited to long to open box/return. It's hardly noticeable. Make sure to open soon if you are a remodel. Also, it has the brand in black on the front. Very visible. Not a fan of branded items screaming at you. Otherwise, great product!

Really nice unit
We install a lot of these and have never had any serious problems we could not work out on the job site. This one had a very very small dent in the back that could not be seen by anyone once installed. The fan is very powerful. This is a great unit if you need to move a lot of air.

Came damaged even though it said it wasn't.
Product was damaged in multiple places - had to straighten metal so not only was the box damaged. Seems to work fine and didn't return it as it's for a temporary kitchen so only has to last for a few years.
